The rear storage area and compressor room were fully involved when firefighters arrived.  Severe structural damage was contained to the direct area with no actual fire damage done to the main building.  Results of the investigation by the NYS OFPC indicated that the fire originated on the exterior wall where plastic containers were stored and traveled up the wall and into the storage area.  The storage area which was loaded with combustible materials was responsible for extension into the compressor room area.

Mutual Aid man-power and equipment was supplied by Fire Departments representing Interlaken, Mecklenburg, Ovid, Enfield, Hector and the City of Ithaca's Ladder truck.
